I’ve always been fascinated by people. From an early age, I found myself wondering how our experiences shape the way we think, feel, and move through the world. That curiosity, combined with a desire to help others create meaningful change, ultimately led me to pursue a career in therapy.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and my Master’s degree in Social Work from Aurora University. Throughout my time in school, I completed internships in both residential substance use treatment and an Adult Partial Hospitalization Program, providing care for individuals navigating substance use, acute mental health concerns, and significant life challenges. Additionally, I worked as an outpatient therapist for nearly two years at a nonprofit organization, supporting adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, grief, self-esteem concerns, life transitions, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and other mental health challenges.

I approach therapy from a holistic perspective, recognizing that healing is rarely about addressing one concern in isolation. I believe each person’s emotional well-being is influenced by the many experiences, relationships, beliefs, and environments that have shaped them. My goal is to meet you where you are, walking alongside you as you work toward meaningful and lasting change.

My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, and rooted in curiosity. I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported while also encouraging the insight and gentle challenges that foster growth. I integrate evidence-based approaches including Person-Centered (Rogerian) Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Solution-Focused Therapy, Psychoanalytic, Psychodynamic, and Strengths-Based Therapy, tailoring treatment to your unique needs and goals.

I especially enjoy working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, self-esteem concerns, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. I believe that awareness is the first step toward change and that healing looks different for everyone. My hope is that you leave therapy with a deeper understanding of yourself, greater self-compassion, practical tools for navigating life’s challenges, and a renewed sense of hope. I believe meaningful growth often begins just outside of our comfort zones and that even the smallest first step can lead to lasting transformation.

Outside of the office, I enjoy things that make me feel free, such as running, rollerblading, dancing, exploring, being in nature, listening to music, and continuing to be curious about the world.
